ODS chosen to be part of an innovative framework
The experience of patient have within the health care has always been important. However more recently the NHS operating framework's outlines the priorities required to look at improving patient experience and staff satisfaction. Recent articles written outline the relationship between staff and patient experience are important factors in improving patient experiences.
Understanding who patients are, what they value, and the obstacles that they encounter, how they have been treated and then comparing that with the ideals of an organisation can be an enlightening exercise.
As we all know – in the NHS your patient/ client/customers need to know they come first, they need to know that the staff are approachable irrespective of the way in which they contact you; that you make your services as customer friendly as possible and that you work with your partners to improve access to services and informationacross the board.
ODS Ltd is delighted to have been successful at been chosen to be part of a regional framework to support improving patient experience and service experience within the NHS. There are a number of other providers involved such as PWC all who are committed to work as a collaborative to be able to support and offer clients a range of expertise and specialist experience.
How does it work?
Mandy Wearne – Director of service experience Inspiration NW – part of NHS North west has been responsible for putting the framework of providers together with the aim of supporting organisations across the Northwest to improve or maintain their position as a reputable and successful NHS organisations in putting the patient- (customer) who matter most at the very heart of everything you do.
Organisations can assess the providers on the framework to help them look at and improve their customer experience, whether this is staff training, support in behavioural change or support in developing service experience strategies, to specific data collection. The providers develop bespoke support, solutions and tools to help the staff deliver high levels of patient satisfaction.
The Inspire project has been developed to help organisation to assess some of the best providers available, who can support organisation, deliver the best training to enhance and help organisation to deliver fantastic customer service experience.
