The ODS population centric workforce planning model™
This population centric workforce planning model™ starts with the perspective of the population needs before developing the workforce plan. This approach allows organisations to identify service priorities, address health inequalities issues and encourages a participative approach to workforce planning.
In a number of projects we have mapped the population centric model™ against others workforce planning models which shows that although there are a number of commonalities across the different models the critical advantage is the population centric model is the focus on the population throughout the approach and the integration of the change management process from stage one and throughout the model.
