Su has over 25 years experience of working in the NHS. Su qualified as a nurse in 1986 and went on to work in a variety of settings ranging from acute, private and primary care sector. She moved into management in 1994 as a primary care nurse advisor in two different health authorities (Enfield & Haringay and Manchester) and then went on to work as Associate Director at NHS National Workforce Projects. During a period of secondment to the Department of Health, Su took on the role of change consultant, supporting commissioning organisations to deliver transformational change across local health communities through the NHS Integrated Service Improvement Programme. The majority of her career has focused on service improvement, workforce, leadership and organisation development.
Su has designed and commissioned development programmes for senior managers and has recently led on the delivery of the system wide clinical engagement, public health organisation development, regional framework development, senior leadership development, board level interventions, business and executive coaching.
